To All You Guys And Gals ;-)
My name is Ladonna and I am from...well, a little bit of everywhere. Originally born and raised in Little Rock/North Little Rock, Arkansas. I'm 38 years old. I'll be 39 on July 38th of 2012. I'm 5'7, 135 pounds, but trying to get up to around 150. I feel like I'm too skinny. I have light brown hair and brown eyes. I've been living in Sheridan, Arkansas, since 2005. Before that I was up in the Hoosier State of Indiana from 1992 till 2005. I've been divorced since 1994 and have been relationship free for nearly a year now. I went through a time period while I attended college and I did the bar scene for a few years. There was a fun club in Indianapolis called "The 10".
My life has been a hard one but it has made me the woman I am. I'm strong, confident and like to be in control. However, this is America and there's no law against equal exchange, especially in love and war. My sexual preference really depends on the person. I can love a woman and have with all that I am. Same goes for a man. I'm an only child and I have 3 children. Two of them are grown. My son are 21 and 18, my daughter is 12 going on 30. HA. She and I are very close.
I studied electronic circuitry and repair until my heart led me to Gerontology. The care of elderly. I was raised by my maternal grandparents and have a natural love and concern for older generations. Still I love to piddle with electronics.
I divorced in 1994 from my two boys' father. I was unmarried until 2007. I met an older man who more or less caught my heart and I cared genuinely for him. I felt his loneliness and despair during a time when I was tattered and torn from an ex female partner of 7 years. I had been abused, cheated on, lied to, you name it. I was broken. I met this man I married during a very vulnerable time in my life. He was quite a bit older but I thought, well, he wouldn't be running around on me like the other. I was in a little trouble already when I met him. I had charges pending for forgery. I was wrong to commit the forgeries and had I been in my right mind rather than a drug-induced stupor, I'd never done those things. I was feeling as if I had been ripped into a thousand pieces and wanted to remain numb. However, my new found husband picked me up, he listened, he protected, and he promised to fix all my troubles. I realized I'm the one and only one who could fix me and I told him that in April of 2009 when I came to Newport prison. My parents take care of my kids and I don't ask them for anything for that reason. I had my husband who took care of me. However I found out he was also taking care of the single woman who lived one building down, in more ways than one. I'm OK with that now, I wasn't in love with him. Really, I just needed a friend I could trust. He wasn't that either. I'm not a selfish person by any means. I like being able to stand on my own two feet.
So if there are any guys or girls who would like to get to know me, I'd sure give it a hell of a shot. I don't have anything for the taking but I have a good heart, an open mind, a listening ear, and two years to be here. So, please feel free to write. I'd love to hear from you. I've got lots of stories. I love the outdoors or riding down the highway with the windows down and music playing. Let's hear from you.
